Welcome to the world isn't just about the newborn days, it is an opportunity to mark the celebration of your new arrival.

You may want to focus the experience on the first 7 - 10 days when the little one is super sleepy and still curled up to get those truly early day features captured.

Being a mother myself I know that the thought of a photo shoot can be quite daunting at these times but my home from home studio is here to make that easier for you.

Later photo shoots are an option as well, where you can still capture the early, tiny details in the first few weeks or months. As well as the newborn stage, there are some truly special moments to capture over that first year - the early smiles, the sitting and crawling stages and of course the 1st birthday milestones. I love to capture them all. The Welcome to the World package is designed to get those shoots in the diary to capture them all as so much change and development happens through that first year.

Mother & Baby led

These sessions are a flexible 2 hours to meet the needs of mum and baby. Whether feeding, changing or soothing is required, it is important baby and mum feel as settled as possible to get the best from the session.

Home from Home

Stepping out of your home with a newborn can be a very daunting event. This may even be your first trip out, so my studio is a homely environment to ensure you feel comfortable, cosy and relaxed. There is a designated cosy corner for parents with maybe an additional caffeinated and/or sugary treat at your reach as and when required.

I am here to provide guidance throughout, from soothing baby on the day to the preparation before you even arrive. This is your session, I am here to support you to have the best experience from this quality time together.

Choosing memories

Once our session has come to an end, I will spend my time editing your magical moments, creating those precious tickets in a form of an online gallery; a collection of edited, high resolution digital images for you to choose from.

When should I book?

There is no time like the present to reach out and get booked in. Newborn photo shoots can be booked in anytime from your 12 week scan. I advise to book ahead to avoid disappointment due to my limited monthly spaces. We can then pencil in your shoot for 7-10 days after your due date. However, if you have already given birth and wish to have a photo shoot it is never too late to get in touch.
